PIANODROME: Our first project was recorded in August 2020 at Edinburgh’s Pianodrome, an amphitheatre constructed entirely from old pianos. Our starting point was a selection of traditional tunes from 17th and 18th-century Scotland and Poland – the project explored both art music settings from the period, and our own contemporary “reflections” on the original melodies.
